It’s the most YUMMIEST time of the year, and you guys better believe I have my stretchy pants armed and ready to go! Haha, so not joking! I LOVE Thanksgiving! The decorating (I’ll get to my easy Thanksgiving table decor in a sec), the food (mmm), and of course, the family time!
This is such a great time to get together to eat, drink, and laugh…and I mean, we laugh and laugh and laugh. I swear, we seriously end up food drunk by the end of the night! And, omgoodness, the leftovers! Nothing like doing some online Black Friday shopping, while snacking on a leftover turkey & all the fixin’s sandwich, am I right?!
The best holiday if you ask me! Haha There’s no pressure of gift giving, just good eating! I think that makes it a fun and easier one to host, too! BUT, I will say that may be because we do potluck style. I imagine it would get pretty stressful to make EVERYTHING yourself! We save on stress by establishing that the host makes the turkey and everyone else brings their favorite side dish. Makes everyone’s life so much easier. Can you tell I’m all for easy when it comes to hosting?
On that note, I also love to keep my Thanksgiving table decor easy too! Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about the glitz and glam, decking the halls, and all that! But, sometimes, simple is MORE! That’s why I want to show you this easy Thanksgiving table decor. It’s not only easy to set up, but easy because everything you’ll need for decorating is available at your local grocery store!
The Deets On My Easy Thanksgiving Table Decor
How convenient since you’ll be needing to make a pitstop at the store anyway, if you’re planning to host. So, these are some super cute items I scooped up to give my table an effortless but, festive look.
I found these adorable and super affordable gold ombre pumpkins at my local grocery store (Albertsons) for under $10/each (found these similar ones online). Most grocery stores I’ve seen have a cute little section by the floral department with holiday decor. Scope it out! Get an idea of some items that you may be able to use for your table. And look for the sales! They tend to put these items on sale right before the big day.
I saw these pumpkin vases and knew they’d be a perfect a easy addition to my Thanksgiving table! I picked up some $9 bunches of flowers and filled my pumpkins with them. They were prearranged so I just cut them down to size to fit snug in the vases. Extra points for pre-made, whoop whoop!
My store also had bags of these pinecones for $7each (found a mixed bag of them online). Sparkled them up with some adhesive spray & glitter to add a little pizzazz, but so not necessary. They’re great on their own! And they smell AH-MAZING! I would double up on the pinecones to fill up more space if you don’t plan on serving food on your table.
I also tend to use my wine bottles as added decor! It helps fill a space, and adds height & dimension, too! Opt for a good wine with a festive label to add more color to your table. Snagged these ($9/bottle) on sale at my grocery store!
Some optional pizzazzy touches: gold charger plates I picked up from the 99 cent store, votive and/or tapered candles for mood lighting, some pretty wine glasses I bought a long time ago that add a touch of sparkle, and a festive or neutral colored table runner.
And there you have it! My easy Thanksgiving table decor for under $100! Everything you need is literally AT the grocery store but I did provide online links if you’re looking to save time.
Easy peezy lemon squeezey!
