2020 is here, friends! And that means we’re doing new things here on PRBS! When I polled you last week on Instagram, you said along with more try on hauls, you wanted to see more ways to style those fashion finds and items that you already have in your closet. So, naturally, you’re wish is my command! Ooh, that just reminded me of that Christina Aguilera song…”I’m a genie in a bottle baby, gotta rub me the right way honey”. Crap, did I just age myself?!
Moving on lol I showed you this $15 tunic in my Target Try On Haul this week. And, I wasn’t joking when I said how much I love it! It’s so comfortable and oooober versatile. Tunics are great to have in your closet because they’re long enough to cover your bottom when you need it. Which makes them super easy to pair with leggings, but you can also just belt them, tuck them, or layer them, too!
Don’t believe me, yet? Well then, what if I said I’m about to show you 21 ways to style a tunic. YES, 21!!! And, to be honest I could’ve kept going, but then my kiddos kept photobombing my photos so, let’s all be glad that I was able to get 21 done! haha
21 Ways To Style A Tunic
With Sneakers
Whether you pair it with leggings, jeans, or a faux leather skirt (or any skirt), tunics are easy to dress down with sneakers. Want to be super comfy? Wear it with leggings and add a jean jacket for a trendier look. Want to look more put together? Wear it with jeans and add a leather jacket for an edgier look.
With Boots
OTK boots, knee high boots, or booties…any will do! Pair them with leggings, jeans or skirts. Fold your tunic under and belt it to wear it with a skirt. Add a Tennessee Tuck to your jeans and a hat for a country look. Or, fave look, with leggings and OTK’s (first photo). Something so chic about it!
With Pumps/Heels
Pumps are always an option! Heels are in general. I’ll start off by saying that. It’s not pictured, but you can even wear them with leggings. Pumps are a great work option too. Pair your tunic with a knee length skirt or slacks and belt it for a work appropriate look (just make sure your skirt or pants are flat paneled for a smooth look). Pair your pumps or heels with faux leather leggings for a night out. Or, with jeans for an effortlessly cute day or night look.
With Flats/Mules
For a comfy, but super cute look, wear with mules or any other flat (even sandals, if you want!). If wearing with leggings, add a jean jacket to style it up. If wearing with jeans, add a long coat, leather jacket, or a cute puffer jacket for a complete look. Summer time? Wear a light weight tunic over a bathing suit, add a cute pair of sandals or wedges and a jean jacket for the cutest beach look!
I could seriously go on and on with all the ways to style a tunic, but I think you get the point! haha What’s your favorite look? Leave a comment below!
