Is anyone else shocked that Christmas is only 2 weeks away!?! Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited for it, but am definitely finding myself more and more unprepared to partake in the actual celebration of it (#procrastinator). I mean, haven’t even started my Christmas shopping, I just recently got the inside of my house decorated “enough”, and still have two deer to put up outside (right now they’re looking like slaughtered prey spread out in pieces on my lawn 🤦🏻♀️). And every year I’ve done a 25 days of Christmas where I do at least one Christmas activity each day from December 1st to Christmas Day, but missed the mark on that one this year (I have a 3 month old who won’t nap without being held…needless to say I’m not getting much done these days 😒). And what a bummer because I really wanted my two year old daughter to participate in those activities. I feel like Christmas is the best time of year for a toddler. Lucky for me though, I still have time to do a 12 days of Christmas with her, yay!!!
Christmas has always been a big deal in our house so I don’t want to let that go, especially now that my daughter knows who Santa is. Traditions are everything! I’m hoping next year I can get back to our 25 days of Christmas, but this year we’ll be doing our 12 days of Christmas and it’ll be just as fun. So starting December 14th, I will be doing the following Christmas activities with my little munchkin and I’m so excited! I know this will really get us into the holiday spirit and create the best holiday memories for us!
If you want to follow along with our 12 days of Christmas, make sure to follow me on Instagram @pinkrosesblueskies where I’ll be sharing these activities on my IG stories each day.🎄
UPDATE: The whole fam bam got super sick this past week so we haven’t been able to do our 12 days of Christmas 😭 We’re hoping to be able to check some off our list this weekend…fingers crossed. Sorry guys!
